Mia Roldan LCSW, LCDC

Mia Roldan MSSW, LCSW, LCDC is a licensed clinical social worker at The Adolescent Medicine Clinic at Dell Children’s Medical Group, specializing in Reproductive and Endocrine Medicine. Her work focuses on individual, family and group psychotherapy for patients with Eating Disorders and Gender Diverse patients. She also regularly engages in educational and training activities with UT medical students, residents and social work students.
Ms. Roldan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of California at Berkeley. She received her Elementary and ESL Teaching Certificate at Dominican University of California, and she also holds a K-12 Special Education Teaching Certificate. She earned her master’s degree in social work with a clinical concentration from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ms. Roldan has worked as a clinical social worker in the ER at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, with Williamson County schools as a school-based mental health counselor and with The Christi Center as the Coordinator of School-Based Services. In addition, Ms. Roldan has a private practice where she sees children, adolescents and young adults with grief, loss and trauma issues. Ms. Roldan is trained in CBT, TF-CBT, DBT and EFFT. Lastly, Ms. Roldan published “Voices of Strength: Sons and Daughters of Suicide Speak Out.”
