Sasha Jaquez, Ph.D. is a pediatric psychologist at the Texas Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Childhood Obesity (TCPTCO).
Dr. Jaquez received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology, with an emphasis on pediatric/child clinical psychology, from Oklahoma State University. She completed her predoctoral psychology internship at University of Alabama at Birmingham/Children’s of Alabama, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Texas at Austin, working both at Dell Children’s Medical Center and Texas Child Study Center.
Dr. Jaquez is a member of the behavioral health team at TCPTCO where she participates in multidisciplinary clinic visits and provides outpatient therapy services, aimed at helping families achieve healthier lifestyles. Dr. Jaquez specializes in working with children and adolescents with medical complexities affecting mental health and sleep disorders.
Outside of work, Dr. Jaquez enjoys traveling, cooking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
