Edwin Batista is a Spanish-speaking, board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Edwin completed his advanced practice nursing degree at The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Edwin has seven years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has worked in multiple cities and states. Edwin specialized in pediatric orthopedics in California at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, in Dallas at Texas Scottish Rite, and in San Antonio for Baptist Health Systems. Edwin also practiced in Austin at the Dell Children’s Medical Center with the General Surgery and Trauma team.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Edwin spent two years as an elementary school physical education teacher and coached high school volleyball and basketball in Austin.
In his free time, Edwin enjoys watching sports, playing golf, working out and spending time with his wife and two children.
