Dell Children’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas is committed to a child and family centered approach and includes all members of the care team when evaluating, diagnosing, managing and treating children with seizures and epilepsy.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for kids with seizures and epilepsy, along with their families. We serve the Central Texas region as well as those children from surrounding states needing advanced care. The education, services and treatment options we provided are designed to help reduce or eliminate a child’s seizure burden.

We are nationally recognized and, as the only dedicated pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Central Texas, our program has earned a Level 4 Epilepsy Center designation by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). This designation means we have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest level medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for those with complex epilepsy. In addition, the advantages our multi-disciplinary team and state-of-the-art EMU combined with our neurology case conferences help us to evaluate and communicate your child’s needs.
