Olivia Martino received a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development in 2008 from Vanderbilt University. She then completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2009, with board certification as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She first worked as a Registered Nurse on a General Pediatrics and Neuroscience unit at Comer Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois before deciding to leave her snowsuits behind and move to Austin.
Olivia joined the Dell Children’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center in 2012, first working at the bedside as a Registered Nurse, then as a Clinical Nurse Educator, providing support to the Neurosciences and Acute Inpatient Rehab nursing departments. She transitioned roles in 2018 to continue providing care to patients as an Advanced Practice Provider for the program. Olivia enjoys all of the things Austin has to offer- live music, great food, and lots of sunshine- and she is a foster pet mom through the local shelter.
