Dell Children’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Dell Children’s Medical Center is committed to a child and family centered approach and includes all members of the care team when evaluating, diagnosing, managing and treating children with seizures and epilepsy.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for kids with seizures and epilepsy, along with their families. As the only comprehensive children’s epilepsy center in Central Texas, we serve the entire Central Texas region as well as those children from surrounding states needing advanced care. The education, services and treatment options we provided are designed to help reduce or eliminate a child’s seizure burden.

Dell Children’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center strives to identify seizures and understands care is not limited to medical or surgical management but may be a combination of treatment approaches which often lead to more effective outcomes. We are nationally recognized, and our program has earned a Level 4 Epilepsy Center designation by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). This designation means we have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest level medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for those with complex epilepsy.
In addition to offering the best pediatric neurology services, we have the only dedicated pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Central Texas. Our multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art EMU combined with our neurology case conferences help us to evaluate and communicate your child’s needs.
