Pediatric Behavioral Health Services

Pediatric Behavioral Health Services

How do we help?

We work with children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing difficulties related to their food allergy. Common difficulties include:

  • Anxiety surrounding medical procedures (including skin tests, blood draws and food challenges)
  • Depression
  • Medical Adherence
  • Coping
  • Bullying/peer difficulties
  • Stress

Available Services

Patients and families work with their provider to set goals to accomplish during therapy, as well as learn strategies to help meet their goals. Appointments are scheduled every 2-4 weeks (depending on patient’s needs) to allow families time to practice new tools/strategies. Appointments are currently available via telehealth.

If interest in behavioral health services, please speak with your doctor. Behavioral health services are offered at no charge to patients in the Dell Children’s Allergy Center. You can schedule an appointment with one of our nurses on your way out.
