Adolescence is a key developmental milestone that represents a unique niche in the lifespan. Adolescents have needs that are distinct from both children and adults, and some teenagers may require additional support as they navigate this journey.
The Adolescent Medicine – Reproductive Endocrinology Program offers consultative services to support primary care clinicians in the diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing management of a variety of complex issues that can arise in adolescence and young adulthood. Our adolescent medicine board-certified physician places a priority on evidence-based decision making, clear communication with primary care clinicians and a person- and family-centered approach.
Dell Children’s Medical Center is proud to offer comprehensive primary care to you and your family. The Adolescent Medicine – Reproductive Endocrinology practice provides adolescent medicine consultative services that include:
- Menstrual problems
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Reproductive health/gynecological problems
- Eating disorders
- Bone health problems
- Breast disorders
