I grew up in Los Angeles and came to San Antonio after joining the Air Force. I attended Texas Woman’s University for my nursing degree and worked in the PICU at Children’s Medical Center, Dallas. I live in Austin with my husband and three kids. I enjoy time outdoors and the Austin music scene.

My Passion for Healthcare

I became a nurse out of a desire to find a career that would allow me flexibility, challenge and the opportunity to help others. While serving in the Air Force I worked in an allergy immunology clinic and discovered a passion for pediatrics. During my time working in PICU, I cared for many children with medical complexity and technology dependence. I witnessed how these children’s families navigated a complex medical system. Now I serve as a primary care provider for these same children.

Services I Provide

  1. Well child exams/physicals
  2. Immunizations
  3. Care coordination

My Clinical Focus

I provide primary care to children with medical complexity as part of a multidisciplinary care team at the Children’s Comprehensive Care Clinic. Our clinic is comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, a registered dietician, social workers, community health workers, medical assistants, a child life specialist, a child life assistant, a family liaison and a research team.
