My Clinical Focus

I became a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse because I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. My experience in working with our oncology nurse practitioner during my first few years inspired me to return to school and become a pediatric nurse practitioner. After eight years of nursing I felt like I had more learning to do, but enough bedside knowledge to continue my education and become a nurse practitioner. I truly enjoy my career and the work that we do!
