My Passion for Healthcare

My mom was head ER nurse at Brackenridge Hospital when the UT tower shootings tragedy occurred. She taught me to be compassionate, especially toward those who have experienced trauma, and taught me to be calm under pressure. My dad was badly burned when I was in college and airlifted to Brackenridge Hospital. I watched how the physical therapy wound care team worked alongside physicians and nurses to heal his burns and knew that I too, wanted to work in a trauma setting. I love being part of an interdisciplinary team, helping patients maximize independence and healing their wounds.

Services I Provide

  1. Acute Care
  2. Wound Care

My Clinical Focus

I enjoy helping children who are admitted to the hospital for whatever reason to get up and moving. I have a special passion for assisting patients with traumatic or orthopedic injuries and/or wounds.
