My Clinical Focus

As a Division I College soccer player, I was required to complete a certain number of community service hours in order to stay eligible to play. I signed up to be camp counselor at Camp Smile-A-Mile, Alabama’s camp for kids with cancer. The week I spent with this amazing group of kids helped not only shape my decision to be a nursing major but also define my future specialty.
