Dr. Adamson recently moved to Texas with his wife who is also a professor at UT Austin. He is an Assistant Professor at Dell Medical School at UT Austin where he engages in teaching, research, and clinical care. He will establish the pigmented lesion and melanoma clinic at Dell Seton Medical Center.

My Passion for Healthcare

Understanding the intricate inner workings of the human body has always been an interest of mine. Being able to combine this interest with my passion for helping people makes being a doctor incredibly rewarding. Having grown up in several countries around the world, I have had the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. My Clinical Focus

I am a general dermatologist who sees patients with conditions ranging from acne to psoriasis to skin cancer. My primary interest is caring for patients at high risk for melanoma of the skin, such as those with many moles (particularly atypical moles), or a personal and/or family history of melanoma. Working with a multidisciplinary team, I aim to maximize early melanoma detection while minimizing the number of unnecessary biopsies. My academic focus involves improving the quality of care delivered to patients, particularly those with skin cancer.
