Dell Children’s Health Plan welcomes CMO


Ascension Seton is proud to announce Anthony Moretti, M.D., MBA, has accepted the role of chief medical officer for Dell Children’s Health Plan. In his new position, Dr. Moretti will oversee medical leadership, and ensure delivery of affordable, quality healthcare programs for Dell Children’s Health Plan, which offers quality insurance coverage through the CHIP and STAR Medicaid programs. Dr. Moretti brings more than 15 years of clinical and management experience to his new role.

Prior to joining Ascension Seton, Dr. Moretti served as regional medical director for Orange County Blue Shield. Previously, Dr. Moretti held the position of medical director utilization management/quality at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Moretti is a board-certified pediatric intensive care specialist with extensive experience in hospital operations, healthcare finance, provider network integration, and business contract negotiation.

Moretti graduated with honors from Washington University St. Louis, with a degree in biochemistry. He received his Medical Doctorate from Rush Medical College, Chicago and Master of Business Administration from Auburn University, School of Business, Auburn, Alabama.
