Five Seton Hospitals Recognized as ‘Top Performers’ by Top Accrediting Group


AUSTIN, Texas – (Nov. 20, 2014) – Five Seton hospitals were recently recognized by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of U.S. health care organizations, as “Top Performers on Key Quality Measures” for 2013.

The Joint Commission’s Top Performer on Key Quality Measures program acknowledges accredited hospitals for improving performance on evidence-based interventions that increase the chances of healthy outcomes for patients dealing with a heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, children’s asthma, stroke, venous thromboembolism and perinatal care, as well as for inpatient psychiatric services and immunizations.
