Dr. Paul Ferrari is a cognitive neuroscientist and clinical MEG specialist. He obtained a doctoral degree in Dynamical Systems and Brain Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and completed his post-doctoral training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto Canada, a world renowned pediatric hospital. Following his training, Dr. Ferrari directed the Meadowlands Hospital MEG unit in New Jersey and served as the clinical MEG advisor for New York University’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. He also serves on the board of the American Clinical MEG Society.
Dr. Ferrari is currently the Research Director of the MEG laboratory at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, TX. His research involves using non-invasive functional brain imaging methods, primarily Magnetoencephalography (MEG), to study large-scale brain dynamics. At DCMC, Dr. Ferrari will perform clinical service and build a translational research program in functional neuroimaging.
