When your child needs emergency care, Dell Children’s Health Plan covers care at any emergency room in the United States. Your child is covered for emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In an emergency, take your child to the nearest emergency room for help.
You may have to pay if you go to the emergency room for a condition that is not life-threatening.
Schedule an ER Visit
Some emergencies are more like mini emergencies. Reduce your wait in the Emergency Room by choosing a scheduled arrival time at SetonER.com. You’ll be seen by a healthcare professional within 15 minutes of the time you select.
Many illnesses do not need to be treated in the emergency room. If you are unsure if you should seek urgent care, call your child’s PCP for guidance or to schedule an appointment. You can also call Dell Children’s Health Plan’s 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line at 888-596-0268. Our nurses are ready to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
