If your child has a serious medical need and the doctor’s office is closed, call the doctor or clinic. An answering system may take your call and someone will advise you on what to do next.
REMEMBER: ALWAYS CALL 9-1-1 for immediate life-or-death situations.
You can also visit an after-hours facility or urgent care center. You do not need to make an appointment for this. These providers do not have to be your primary care provider (PCP).
You can also call our 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line at 888-596-0268. Our nurses are ready to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
