Screening programs for Cardiac Disease in Children

Goal: To enhance the knowledge of health care provider caring for children with complex congenital heart disease.

Target audience: Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and other Allied Healthcare Providers.

Upon the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify new approaches for the management of the infants and children with Complex Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Understand the role pulse oximetry plays in the screening and management of Complex Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Recognize the benefits of a multidisciplinary, community approach to caring for infants and children with Complex Congenital Heart Disease.
