When a child undergoes treatment at the Children’s Blood & Cancer Center of Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX, we support the entire family.
Our psychosocial team connects patients and families with helpful programs and services available through Dell Children’s Medical Center, Austin or Central Texas community organizations, and national foundations and organizations. Families can access resources on all aspects of pediatric cancer care, including educational information about living with pediatric cancer or blood disorders, as well as special services available to families of children with chronic illnesses.
Rallyhood: An Easier Way to Stay Connected
Dell Children’s Medical Center recognizes the vital role that friends and loved ones play through a child’s treatment journey. That’s why we’ve partnered with Rallyhood to provide a community tool that makes it easy for loved ones to coordinate care and support. The purpose of a support rally is to help a survivor and their family focus on healing and avoid the stress of organizing their own care. You can also join Peer Support Forums to share and get support from others going through a similar journey. Learn more and start a Rally. Let everyone join in celebration of each victory along the way!
