The Children’s Blood & Cancer Center welcomes Ali Noorbaksh to its research team.
Ali has been in research for about five years, which has included time conducting studies in the fields of neuroscience and medical ethics. This position marks his first experience with pediatric oncology and hematology research.
“I love contributing to the vast bank of knowledge held within the medical field”, says Ali. “From such knowledge, we are able to provide more and better options for treatment. Working towards this goal is what brings me to work every day.”
His work with the research team will include building a database to help collect, manage, and analyze the data collected by the CBCC.
“I hope to create a database that will allow us to work with the data we collect in a meaningful, productive manner and allow for enhanced collaboration with other sites with which we work. Through the database, I believe we can continue to generate a greater understanding and knowledge of cancer and cancer treatments that will provide patients and families with better outcomes.”
If you see Ali in the clinic, please make sure to say, “Hello!”
