Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Having a child diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis can be a new and overwhelming experience. The Cystic Fibrosis Care Center at Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas provides comprehensive clinical services and education to help pediatric and adult patients and their families with the daily care and treatments involved with Cystic Fibrosis.
The multi-disciplinary CF care team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, respiratory therapists and child life specialists.
The center is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a satellite clinic of the Baylor College of Medicine’s Cystic Fibrosis Program in Houston, TX.
