Meet the Team
Pediatric Intensivists

The pediatric intensivists specialize in caring for adolescents, children and infants with serious illnesses or injuries. These physicians are in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and manage patients with traumatic injuries, complex surgeries or life threatening conditions. Our intensivists work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), diagnosing and treating patients with multiple medical complications. The pediatric intensivists are a critical component of the management of children after heart surgery in the PICU.
