- Sleep-associated breathing difficulties (snoring and sleep apnea): Snoring may be a sign of abnormal breathing and is present in obstruct sleep apnea, a type of sleep apnea in which a child stops breathing during periods of sleep.
- Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS): A sleep disorder characterized by tingling sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable urge to move them. It can be present in children with "growing leg pains."
