Pediatric Residency Program
Subspecialty

Subspecialty Selectives
During the three years of training, residents will spend a minimum of seven (7) blocks on pediatric subspecialty rotations. These rotations offer a variety of experiences in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.

* Four (4) Subspecialty Selective rotations must be chosen from among the following:

  • Pediatric Allergy/Immunology
  • Pediatric Cardiology
  • Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Pediatric Genetics
  • Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Pediatric Infectious Diseases
  • Pediatric Nephrology
  • Pediatric Neurology
  • Pediatric Pulmonology
  • Pediatric Rheumatology

*Three (3) additional Subspecialty Selective rotations may be chosen from any of the above or those listed below:

  • Child Psychiatry
  • Pediatric Dermatology
  • Pediatric Ophthalmology
  • Pediatric Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
  • Pediatric Otolaryngology
  • Pediatric Radiology
