On November 5-6th 2010 Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas will host the Children’s Hospital Association of Texas (CHAT) Pediatric Nursing conference. This year’s event, Keeping in Tune with Pediatric Nursing, will be held at the Westin Hotel at the Domain, 11301 Domain Dr Austin, Texas 78758.
CHAT is a nonprofit association whose mission is to ensure Texas children have access to effective, high-quality, comprehensive and appropriately funded health care. It comprises seven children’s hospitals in Texas: Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Cook Children’s Health Care System in Fort Worth, Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
The conference will address issues relevant to the care of children in school based clinics, physicians’ offices and hospitals. Approximately 250 nurses from Texas and surrounding states will gather to network, learn and collaborate on critical issues impacting health care provided to Texas children.
We are requesting a fee of $600.00 for exhibit space in support of this program. For this support you will have a 6’30” clothed and skirted table with 2 chairs per table and a boxed lunch will be provided for each day for two participants per table. We welcome any additional sponsorship as an education grant to support any expenses associated with the conference. All Commercial Supporters will be announced on the Brochure and at the Conference.
As a nonprofit organization, CHAT relies on tax-deductible charitable donations and the sale of exhibitor booths for the November conference. All cash contributors, both individuals and companies, will be acknowledged based on level of contribution and will receive a 501C3 form for tax purposes. Additionally, health care related companies may also contribute through the purchase of an exhibitor booth or speaker sponsorship for the November conference. We have enclosed a sponsorship form reflecting various contribution levels. A Dell Children’s CHAT representative will contact you to discuss your participation.
