The Children’s Hospital Association of Texas (CHAT) is an organization of regional not for profit children’s hospitals in Texas. CHAT’s mission is to advance pediatric health care services for the benefit of children in Texas. To further its mission, CHAT works to inform and educate the public and state decision makers about issues in pediatric health care.
The 17th Annual CHAT Pediatric Nursing Conference is hosted by Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas and will be held at the Westin Austin at The Domain on November 5 & 6, 2010. The CHAT Conference is planned for pediatric nurses by pediatric nurses with regard to the many changes that are faced in healthcare today.
Keeping in Tune with Pediatric Nursing will enable each participant to:
- Identify current developments in pediatric healthcare within a variety of clinical settings
- Examine strategies for delivering exceptional pediatric nursing care while managing a range of demands
- Develop leadership skills to use in caring for the pediatric patient and family
