Why:
The interdisciplinary conference is for physicians, pediatric nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, registered nurses, and advanced practice nurses.
Our goal is to expand the knowledge of health care providers in care of children with congenital heart disease.
Objectives:
- Identify ways to properly care for acutely/critically ill children with congenital heart disease
- Recognize new trends in management of the child with congenital heart disease pre & postoperatively
- Recognize the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach to caring for these children
