Bio

Dr. Zavaleta received his undergraduate in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. He began residency in pediatrics at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed it at Central Texas Medical Foundation. He was chief resident in 1976-1977. Dr. Zavaleta is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, TX Pediatric Association and the Austin Pediatric Society. He has volunteered at Caritas and served on the board of Capital Area Diabetic Association in Austin. He is a member of the Medical Records Committee and the Patient Education Committee of the Austin Regional Clinic.
