Bio

A native Texan, pediatric hematologist/oncologist Donald Wells, M.D., completed his undergraduate studies at Lamar University in Beaumont and subsequently earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Wells' pediatric residency took place at the University of Connecticut Health Center followed by service as a clinical associate at the National Institute of Health, National Cancer Institute and as a research fellow in the laboratory of tumor immunology and biology.

Dr. Wells joined the Children's Hospital of Austin Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders Center in 1995 and is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology.
