Dr. Scott Weiner joined the faculty of the Pediatrics department of the Austin Medical Education Programs in December 2002. Dr. Weiner attended Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1984. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and Ph.D. degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1993. Dr. Weiner completed his internship and Pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He has served on the Medical Staff as a hospitalist at Christian Hospital Northwest, Capital Region Medical Center, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and most recently at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He has also served on the faculties of Washington University School of Medicine and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, also both in Missouri. Dr. Weiner has published and lectured on many areas related to Children's health. Dr. Weiner will be taking care of hospitalized patients at the Children's Hospital of Austin and teaching Pediatrics residents and medical students. Dr. Weiner is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
