Bio

The senior partner of Austin Pediatric Surgery Association, Dr. Robert Schlechter is a Pittsburgh native who attended Johns Hopkins University and graduated from Chicago Medical School. Dr. Schlechter performed his General Surgery residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. His fellowship training in pediatric surgery was completed at McGill University - The Montreal Children's Hospital, Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Schlechter has served as the SETON network Medical Executive Committee Chairman and is the Director of Pediatric Trauma Services. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Pediatric Surgery.

Dr. Schlechter's offices are located in Austin, Round Rock and San Marcos, and hours are M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted, and new patients are welcome.
