Bio

Dr. Ankur Rana grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He completed a BS/MD program through University of Akron and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He then completed his general surgery residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC followed by a surgical critical care fellowship at University of Michigan. Following this year, he spent one year at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio participating in an adolescent bariatric lap band surgery program. His pediatric surgery fellowship was completed at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York Northshore LIJ Health System.  He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Rana's office is centrally located by Dell Children's Medical Center.  Office hours are M-F, 8 AM.-5 PM, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted, and new patients are welcome.
