Bio
Dr. Mirrop graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Biochemistry in 1985. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1989. He completed his internship and residency at the University of California at Davis in 1992 and was Chief Resident of Pediatrics from 1992- 1993.
Dr. Mirrop was Board Certified in Pediatrics in 1992. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Mirrop also holds a Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Currently, he serves as Chief on the Seton Medical Center Perinatal Council and on the Seton Medical Executive Committee. He is President of the Pediatric Physician Alliance of Central Texas. Dr. Mirrop is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Mirrop is married and has a daughter.
