Personal Summary:
Dr. de Wette has volunteered for over 20 years at El Buen Samaritano Health Clinic, which provides medical care for families without health insurance. She also provides medical advice and acts as camp physician every summer at El Ranchito, a nature-immersion camp for children and youth from low-income families. This allows Dr. de Wette to combine her love of kids with her love of the outdoors and exploration and protection of the environment.
Having lived on her husband’s family ranch for over 25 years, she has had the privilege of watching her two children grow up on the ranch, and both children graduated college with degrees involved in the exploration and conservation of nature. Dr. de Wette enjoys hiking, gardening, and observing the birds and other wildlife that make daily life at the ranch a rewarding and relaxing experience. She is also involved in numerous church ministries.
Provider Bio:
Dr. de Wette, Pediatrics, is currently accepting new patients.
"Now that I’ve been working at ARC for over 28 years, I’m really enjoying being able to work with a second generation of patients. It’s very rewarding to see these youngsters grow up, mature, and start their own families, and then help guide them in the process of rearing their own children, all of which really reminds me of why I entered pediatrics to begin with. I love being able to develop a personal relationship with parents and their children over our years of interaction and collaboration."
