Dell Children's Sports Medicine Conference

Dell Children’s Medical Center invites you to the 2011 Sports Medicine Conference.

 

Join us as key members of our Sports Medicine program present topics that will help you care for your players. Interactive sessions such as workshops and labs will further your knowledge on treating and managing sports injuries in pediatric and adolescent athletes. Interactive sessions will include acute concussion assessment, balance testing, administering tests for ACL and other sports injuries. Get more information.

Continuing Education Credits
The conference is approved for 6.5 CEU’s for certified athletic trainers and licensed athletic trainers, and .65 continuing education units for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Dell Children’s Medical Center is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for athletic trainers. This course has been approved by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners as meeting continuing education requirements for PTs and PTAs. 

 

The conference will be held at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Free parking is available in the visitor’s parking lot off of Mueller Boulevard. Please enter through the Main Entrance and take your first hallway to the left. You will see Conference Rooms 3&4 on your left. .
