Austin, Texas - (October 16, 2008) - Circle of Friends is proud to announce its 1st annual Angels on Wheels Motorcycle Run and Family Fun Day on Saturday, November 1, benefiting Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, a member of the Seton Family of Hospitals.

Motorcycle enthusiasts can support Central Texas kids in this 100-mile motorcycle run that begins at 9am at Dell Children's Medical Center and continues through Georgetown, Lake Travis and other Central Texas locations. The ride will conclude at the new Mueller Lake Park, near Dell Children's off I-35 and Airport Boulevard, where the Family Fun Day celebration will take place from 11am-4pm. This will be the first event to be held at the beautiful landscaped 30-acre park that features an outdoor amphitheatre and stage, picnic peninsula and interactive playscape for children.
Entertainment includes music by teen band Super Pal Universe, rhythm and blues by Amy and the Alibis, southern rock by Wicked Brew, and Austin's own country singer Rick Trevino closing out the afternoon. Children's activities include a gaming truck on wheels, moonwalk obstacle course, face and hair painting, and Dell Children's pet therapy dogs. Food will be available for purchase and includes Rudy's Bar-B-Q, Gatti Wagon, baked goods and snack foods.
Registration for the motorcycle run is $25 per
individual and includes a goody bag, a Rudy's Bar-B-Q meal and
a chance to win a fabulous door prize. Entrance to the family
fun day is free of charge, and tickets may be purchased for
